The project is part of the "Solar for Health" program which is implemented by UNDP Lebanon during 2022 and funded by the German Embassy Beirut through the German Development Bank #KfW and in coordination with Lebanese Ministry of Public Health - وزارة الصحة العامة.

b- 20,000 LED tubes retrofitted.
c- 10,000 LED luminaires installed.
d- An estimated yearly reduction of more than 2.5 GWh of electricity consumption.
e- An annual cost saving between 350 kUSD and 875 kUSD (depending on cost of electricity - the range herein corresponding to between $c14 - $c35 per kWh).
